Consulting for Development (CfD) is a multidisciplinary consultancy that is focused on realising and maximising sustainable development gains. We believe in the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are committed to supporting our clients meet these Goals while delivering value for money (VfM).

CfD is managed by Matthew Cooper. Matthew is an experienced development professional, having worked as a consultant, researcher and analyst on wide ranging assignments in health, agriculture, forestry and climate change. Matthew has previously worked for a number of development consultancy practices, as well as in the charitable and financial sectors. He holds an MSc in Health Economics, Policy and Management from the London School of Economics.

CfD also works with a wide network of other consultancy firms, sector and thematic experts, and country-based consultants to ensure that all of our outputs are delivered to the highest level of technical quality, and are appropriate to the practicalities of local contextual factors.
